There really are no performance parts catalogues for our glorious little V6's. If you want part numbers, do a search in the V6 forum for whatever part and put "part number" in quotes.

Hey thanx dude....after a little research I found that GM does offer some Hi-po parts for the V6 but....all I want to do is get about 200 'ponies' out this block. She has 215,000 on her and still runs strong, but I want her to get up goooooooooooooo.
Once again thanx.....

Your only hope
A COMPLETE rebuild. High compression (maybe 11.5:1), forged con rods, pistons, a really mean CAM, roller EVERYTHING, hedders, ported heads, maybe a bigger intake valve (1.8?). You'll have to build the heads to rev as high as possible. Doing this is pretty much your only hope. It HAS been done (by GM, not an individual), it is expensive. Did I mention boring the cyls?

Hey thanx for the input....I understand the expensive part.I'm gonna drive her this summer and when I park her for the winter thats when I'm gonna get the work done.I'm thinking I can go $3000 for the rebuild.I'd really like to put a V8 in her but then I have to do the suspension, motor mounts and all plus New York state is pretty picky about changing **** on a car.I would have to get it transferred to a 'Unique vehicle'status or claim vandalism.GM has told me that they no longer offer or make the 3.1 V6 so maybe I can use that for a reason along with the fact that she has 215,000 m on her.
Stay tuned I'll let ya know.

try looking at a P.A.W. catalog. they have just about everything offered on just about everyengine. You mihgt have to call for exact priccing/info, but they are very knowledgeable.

How about a T5 + 3.42 posi setup? I noticed a nice difference with the MTC-5 cam, and the 3.1 vs the 2.8. I'm not 200, but I believe I'm a good 160hp or so...
