Y-pipes???

Alright i just put new manifold gaskets in and put new Y-pipe dounuts in. Now the problem is i still have an exhuast leak where the manifold meats the why pipe, and it is tight. I notice though they do keep loosening. What do i do here? Anyone have any good ideas for this? I want that part to be nice and quiet. But when i step on it, i can here it, sounds terrible. Thanks guys
