Bye-bye paper clip
Finaly got tiered of getting SES codes and having to dig through the glove box when I got home at night for a stupid paper clip to see what the code was. I figured why cant I put a little toggle switch under there that does the same thing! It was easy. just spliced some wires from the A and B wires in the back of the diagnostic port, ran it to a toggle switch I mounted, and presto! I almost look forward to it throwing a code again. Not realy...but it will happen sooner or later. Also, I recomed putting a red light bulb in the dash for the SES light. Driving home at night with that bright obnoxious orange light started to irritate me.

Pretty decent idea.. just don't accidentally turn it on while you're driving.. (I assume this switch is in a place your knee won't accidentally hit it)
As far as the bulb, that's an even better idea. I drove around with a piece of electrical tape covering my SES light for months while she was busy with her code 32 BS...

Ya I did the same thing when I had my code coming on, also good for when you want to cool the motor when parked ( fan comes on ) I hated using the clip time after time, it became a PITA just to see a code that would mean more work later...
