Rockers/valves??

I have a ticking coming from my motor, its not to bad but you can here it with the hood up. I think it is coming from the passenger side of the motor and i'm almost postive it is from the top end. I believe it is a rocker, but could it be a lifter? It does not get louder when you rev it up. Its a ticking sound. If its a rocker, what can i do and could it hurt my motor? Or is it a lifter, again could it hurt the motor or what should i do? I'm running 10w-30 in it with mmo (marvel mystery oil). Thanks guys

it could be an exhaust leak too. does it seem to change at all w/ the engine cold and then warming up?

I started it with the belt of and let it run for a bit so i could here it, and its not an exhuast leak, it sound like it coming from the motor. I just fixed my exhuast, new exhuast manifold gaskets, new y pipe gaskets, need a cat tho i think. It sounds like it is coming from the rear of the motor but the top end of it. Any ideas?
