ive done a lot 2 the maro yall. still i think im missing somethings that neeed 2 be ajusted. ive done basically a major tune but i really think i forgot 2 look at some small stuff. car has only sometimes an erratic idle sometimes. what have yall done 4 a major tune? throw any ideas at me even if u think i may have done it.

oh and i need 2 know how 2 tighten the pully belt. its not lose but heard it needs 2 be tighten from time 2 time is this correct? i appreciate all u guys. thanks

 

i had a slightly erratic idle for a long time, i think it was from either dirty injectors or idle control needing adjustment. It idled pretty low. I think i have an air leak now though because it idles a little too high.

If you have a serpentine belt there isn't really anything to tighten. The tensioner pulley keeps it tight. Unless the tensioner itself is going bad. or replace the belt if it's worn.

If you've never looked at the distributer other that replacing the cap and rotor, theres some things there that can be cleaned and adjusted

check all the vacuum hoses for cracked ends
