I have the same engine. Know what i did for more power? Yanked it and put in an L98. Worked like a charm. Thats what i would suggest you do.

I'm sure that wasn't what he wanted to hear, but anyway...You could try putting steeper gears out back - more off-the-line torque. You could also do some suspension upgrades (if not already done) so the sloppy worn-out stuff doesn't 'rob' the car of power transfer to the ground. Not to mention that once you get that all done, you could take turns faster than most V8 F-bodies could - less weight up front. But if you're looking for a quarter-mile street bruiser, then you might want to look into an engine swap.

what should i do with cams ... like what size will appropriatly work with my computer ... and does cold air really do anything .... the suspension sounds good, but i also want to get the most power this tiny engine has to offer.

www.60degreev6.com has a lot of stuff to say about the pushrod V6's. He has a list of mods and stuff, as well as where to get cams from, heads, and other cool stuff. That is, if you want to spend the money.
