Titanium for the V6
Well I have titanium valves, super7 retainers, super7 locks the Z28 build up and none for the V6.
I have Al retainers for the V6 but I decided not to use them because I think they are junk.
I don't think the Al will hold up to the K-700 springs.
So I was looking at some Titanium retainers for LS1, LS6 and 3800 engines. There for the 1.25'' straight wall spring convrsion, and use stock LS1 valve locks.
But what are stock LS1 valve locks?
Are they plain 7degree locks?
I was looking at them because there titanium and take 1.25'' spring, the only titanium I have seen that takes that size spring and 7 degree locks maybe, I don't want to use the old steel ones because thay might not be able to take the extra spring plus I do not want to drop a valve, I can get them cheap, less weight + more spring compression will give me more RPM's I can use and I can say I have titanium and not be lieing hahahah.
For the new V6 the top half set up will be stock valves, titanium retaines, K-700 springs, forged crane +.050'' locks, 1.6 crane gold rockers, viton seals and most likely stock p rods.
If the retainer thing dosen't fall through.
What do you think?

The valves arn't stock any more, and if I can't find real good push rods some where then I'll have to use some thing.
I don't see any big problem with the stock valves. I would like to put 5/16'' stem and 1.8'' valves in there but it isn't going to hapen while I'm over here.
