60 degree v6 here == any GM v6 in which the angle separating the two sides of the motor is 60 degrees, as opposed to most other GM motors, in which the angle separating the cylinder banks is 90 degrees.
This currently means the 2.8, 3.1, 3.4, 3100, 3400, and the upcoming global V6s

A 60 degree motor will be less wide, but taller. That helped it fit in tight engine compartments, and it's why we can't use a two-point V8 strut tower brace- our V6's come close to hitting the hood. The V8's are "shorter" so there's more clearance between the hood and the engine.
