Need info on turbo's

Hello. I know very little about turbo's, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good educational sites that could learn me how the work and how to work with them.. I have pretty much learded most of what I know about cars by reading about it and the trying it. I originally wanted to put a 350 in my Camaro but I can't find one thats street legal for 100's of miles around me.. All I can find are ones that are race ready only. So I have a 3.4lt in my Camaro already the only options I can find are to put a 3.8, 4.3 or 305 in it. So I am seriously thinking about just rebuilding the 3.4 and turbocharging it. The 3.4 needs rebult anyway.

Before all websites, etc, the bible as far as I'm concerned is Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. If you decide to fabricate a turbocharger system, BUY IT, and read it cover to cover 2-3 times.

Take all turbocharger websites as 'opinion' unless someone who actually knows what they're talking about (this, of course, you have to judge on) highlights all the factual statements made. Unfortunately, turbocharger theory is shrouded by.. well.. theory.. lots of it. As with all theory, some theory is straight BS, some makes sense but is still BS, some makes absolutely no sense but is accurate, and a scant few ideas are just plain obvious.

I will not vouch for any of the information of the following sites being 100% accurate.. I will vouch for there being at least being some fact, and enough filler to give you a general understanding of what you're looking at.
