going for a smog check what do you guys suggest i do before i go for the inspection? what typs of things make it not pass?

The most common thing to do is to drive you car for about 20 mins before you get it inspected.... you cat converter needs to warm up. There are a few other things I will leave to others to post on ways to "cheat" like adding methanol but I dont know too much about that so I will let someone who know other trick tell you
