Super Coil
Hey guys I have this Accel Super coil but I'am not sure if it would work with my car. It says its universal but the coils that are on our cars connect differently. has anyone put one of these on their car ?
Thanks guys!

Electronic timing (The EST) requires use of the GM Blaster coil - it looks like the stock one, with more voltage.
You *can* wire it up to work, but you'll end up with more of a points style setup, or an external coil.
Return that, and get the right one for you vehicle.

You can use that coil (altho I wouldn't); it's easy to convert the 4-pin GM coil connector into a two-wire connection. Terminal "A" of the gray connector should connect to terminal "A" of the black connector. Terminal "B" of the gray terminal should connect to terminal "B" of the black connector.
I forget which is which at the moment, but the pink/black wire of the gray connector would become the coil's positive. white/black is coil negative.
So you'll have two wires going to the positive post of the coil, and two wires going to the negative post.
But... Like Doward said, that's not an HEI coil; aftermarket HEI coils put out over 45,000 volts. That coil probably only juices out 30,000 volts. Like oilpan said, that coil would work well with an ignition box- but on it's own, it won't perform as well.
