cam advice

im going with the crane cam, the 2.8 1.6 ration magnum tip rockers, i need part number for good valve springs, pushrods and retainers for my 3.1.

which crane cam is "the crane cam"? if you're going with just roller TIP rockers, buy v8 ones and save some money. if they are the 'stamped factory style', v8 ones will work and just reuse your stock rocker nuts. i used "Z28" valve springs, again V8 items. and, i used stock pushrods and retainers.

It is good to replace the ball nut factory rockers with needle bearing rockers made by an after market supplier.
what crane cam do you want?
Kmotion K-700 springs from summit are great for most V6 appications and there only $42.
For retainers look for...
1.25'' wide + or - .01''
with stock installed hight
ones that take standard 7 dregree valve locks.
Pick your materal steel or if you have the cash Titanium like I have. ( I got mine of ebay for dirt cheap)
and get crane forged standard 7 degree locks for 11/32'' valve, with +.050'' installed hight, thats what I have.
don't get any thing super7, stay away from any super7 valve locks or retainers.
