Nitrous is plumbed...

Finally broke down and decided to start installing the Nitrous yesterday (I got beat ina race by an All motor Civic hatch....nuff said). I got the tubing and rubber connectors yesterday (for the intake tube, nozzles won't screw into rubber, lol), and Sonar helped me make everything fit and provided some transportation to the local hardware store. Today I had to figure out where I was going to mount my solenoid bracket, my feed lines are short so it was kinda tough. We went ahead and mounted the solenoids and tapped the new intake tube for the nozzle today, as well as hard plumbing the main fuel line. It all turned out pretty nice, the hard plumbed look is kinda professional looking almost. Tommorow I plan on doing the wiring and running the main nitrous line to the noid (along with mounting the bottle). I went ahead and jetted for 50hp, even though it's a wet shot, I want to play it safe at first. I'll get some pictures as sonn as the batteries are charged in the digi cam. I've discussed the setup with 3 diff nitrous users, they all agree that certain safety measure advised before were uneccessary (fuel pressure safety switch mainly) I was told that on a shot this small (up to 100 actually) you dont risk catastrophic engine failure if your fuel pressure drops. I was lery at first, but then I don't use as much nitrous as they do or have the experience they do. Anyhow, I'll be spraying by friday, and will schedulea rematch with Mr. B18 Honda (Kid had a nice looking dyno sheet from the day before, 178hp and 127ft/lbs). Pics soon.
