Code 32 and 33

Any ideas? I was breaking down the grade when my SES light came on and i checked it for codes when i got to school. Came backe with 32 and 33. Should i just reset it and not worry about it or you think someting may be wrong? I know like 2 times a yeare i get a SES code for my EGR i reset it and its fine. But the 33 shows its my MAP sensor. Coud i have just been using too much vacume going down the grade?

how is your car running? If I'm not mistaken, one of those codes is for the MAF sensor. Correct? If your MAF sensor IS bad, your going to notice a MAJOR difference. Also, another question. Are the codes ALWAYS on? or just random? I have the same problem, codes 33, 34, and I think 44 (the running rich code). I'm not sure what's causing the codes to come on, but when they do come on, I shut the car off in mid drive, turn back on, and WAMMO, codes are gone. it's starting to bother me, but as long as they go away, i'm not too concerned.

Actualy my car is MAP equiped not MAF but it is running fine except for the rouch idle but that is a result of me putting the car in park at 45.00 it actualy has gotten better. But anyways The light didnt come on at all on my way home lastnight. If it was jsut a 32 i would not care but it is werid how a 32 and 33 were set off at the exact same time. Maybe i will reset the ECM and see what happens.

do you have the haynes manual? If so, it'll tell you in the emissions chapter (i think it's chapter 4) what each code means. Isn't the 32-34 codes together, since GM used the same computer for all 3rd gens. and if it's MAP, it's one code, if it's MAF, it's the other? I hope i'm not talkin bs here, but i think that's what's going on.
