Whats Wrong With This Car?
Im going to trade in my firebird for a 1988 Camaro Sport Coupe.. and heres the deal with it... When i was first interested in the car it wouldnt run.. the mechanic finally found out that he had the timing backwards..so he got that done and it ran and the problem its having now is it runs really good but when it starts its take off when you throttle it.. it acts like it wants to die like it bogs down but if you keep giving it gas it eventually gets going and cruises very good and goes down the road no problem but during the start off period it tugs pulls and back fires/pops when its trying to get going the mechanic told me that the throttle posistion sensor might be off.. but he isnt very bright would anyone know what the problem is? because the car lot owner is taking it to the local chevy garage to get it fixed but any ideas would be appreciated cause my firebird has way worse probs...and i need a car better on gas and yeah... Also it has a dual exhaust running of the left side and the car is kinda loud/rumbly for V6 but most V6 camaros ive heard kinda have that loud exhaust does that mean it needs new exhaust and if so will it quiet it down? Its a 1988 Chevy Camaro Sport Coupe with a 2.8 V6 MPI ,Auto,T-Top with 76,960 original miles perfect body that just needs a rear quarter panel ground affect put on and painted bother other words its perfect minus its problem

they are asking far to much for the car
at that price it should be running perfect no problems whats so ever and should be in mint shape body wise missing nothing
and the interior better be spotless
i know the used car game and your about to get hosed

I would definately NOT buy it. If it's not running right who knows what other problems could be there. I paid $2600 for my firebird and it still runs perfect, all I've HAD to replace was struts and shocks. Everything else done to it was cause I either broke it or to upgrade things.
