For the first 500 miles....
I have set my timing at 8 and the ECM still advances it to 20. Then after my break-in time i will set it to 10. Has anyone ever heard of any problems with this? Thanks

The big thing to do, is to vary the rpm. Also, go out, drive up to about 50mph, and just let off the gas - let the engine compression slow you do - helps to seal the rings.
