Where can I find a good set of headers for my V6? All I see in ads and mags are for V8s...

That's all you'll ever see in magazines and catalogs. You've gotta do what I had to do before this "internet" thing happened- call the catalog company and ask them for "this part" for "your motor".

Example, you'll only see V8 spark plug wires listed in catalogs. 99% of people that want good plug wires drive V8's! So call the company, tell them the plug wires you want, and then tell them the motor you've got. They'll look up the right # for ya.

But since this internet thing came around, most manufacturers have their part catalogs online! So going with this whole spark plug wire example, if you liked Accel plug wires, you'd go to http://www.mrgasket.com (they own Accel), click on the Accel link, download the Accel catalog, and in the Accel catalog will be the part # for your wires.

A lot of things aren't V8 specific, although they might say something like "87-92 V8 Firebird". Such items would be aftermarket remote HEI spark coils, fuel filters, posi/limited slip rears, rear gears, suspension parts (lower control arms, bushing kits, anti-sway-bars, shocks, etc), transmission shifters and shift kits, exhaust systems (except for headers), and gauges.

Things that are V6 specific would be headers, camshafts, distributor caps, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, suspension lowering SPRINGS (v8 springs fit but actually raise the car!), etc- mainly anything to do specifically with the V6 motor itself.
