3.1 v6 auto 99k
replaced the stock with a iroc dual snorkle
feels like it has a bit more power as i hoped
and sounds alot better

anyone know how much hp it added if any
going by how firebirds used the old intake
and irocs used this one
it should be @ 150hp 195lbs torque
it also has the 305 gm catback
not sure if that helps but it sure sounds nice
so many people think its a v8
short of swaping engines or turbos
anything else i can do to get a bit more power out of it?
also its leaking coolent from the back of the engine
i cant find where the leak is
anyone got some pointers?
it drips on to the bell houseing of the tranny
it uses a gallon of coolent every 2-3 weeks depending on how much i drive

 

Looks good man. But I dont think it added that much hp.

 

coolent leak from up top? Could be a intake gasket leak.

What else have you done performance wise? Click the www button below my name, I have almost every bolt on engine goodie.

 

it seems to be leaking from the back of the engine i cant see the leak from under the hood
but its leaking on to the tranny
why i said seems like the rear top of the engine
but its not comeing from the heads or where else
but you cant see a leak from peering behind the engine

its weird
someone told me it mite be a freeze plug leaking

do these engines have them?
