IAC valve block. The gasket is GM only I think, I know Oreily doesn't carry it.

I had to replace that gasket, I couldn't find it at any autoparts store so I got liquid gasket and put that on there. Been on for 2 months and no problems so far. I also did the throttle body bypass when I did it.

Yes it will hurt performance and gas mileage as it will cuase a vaccum leak.

I was able to get the gasket by going to a local indepenant parts stor and asking for the Throtlle body gasket kit for my appropriate year and engine size. Kragens and such just looked at me funny and said that TB's don't have gaskets.

You will get several gaskets with the kit. Might as well replace them all while you are there. It's not difficult and is cheep insurance to help prevent future vac leaks.

well ive alreaddy replaced the intake gasket so wont need that... I actually called autozone and asked them for a intake block gasket and they said it was 16 bucks.. I didnt think such a small gasket would cost so much.. but yeah.. another problem my car has is when i first start it when its cold, and hit the gas and let off fast, it will die.. then sometimes wont start back up for maybe 2-3 min. but its fine once its warm and the rest of the day..

Are you getting any trouble codes when that happens?

well When i do hit the gas fast and let off the idle gets real week.. Like stumbling.. If it does it long enough it will throw a code.. But as soon as it dies the code is no longer in the comp.

If you're slow & careful, you can make one out of flat black gasket material; trace the old one onto the gasket material, remove the old one, and use an x-acto knife to cut your new one.

That's how I make my throttle body & plenum intake gaskets now... that $3 roll of material (sold by sealants and RTV silicone in parts stores) is a heck of a lot cheaper than a gasket set!
