I'm getting ticked!
My fricken Y pipes continue to leak and i even had a shop do the gasket between the manifold to the y pipe. And I can here it leaking again. I'm beyound pissed! I should have just gotten headers however they will not work on my car since I do need all my emissions things along with air pump. So now what do I do? I'm sick of changing the stupid things! Help :hail:
Keep in mind its not me doing a bad job here, a shop did work on it also
Same thing, but i was not at all happy with their job

and just because a shop did it doesn't mean it was done right. I would def take it back and have'em do it again. Also the headers that are now available have provisions for the A.I.R and the EGR so you could do headers.

I thought you had to remove the air pump for them to fit? They have the egr provision but not the air pump, it has to be removed or something no? Thanks guys

You should beable to find headers that fit, email or call the major companies, it should be made just not a major listing. Or talk to a local custom or machine shop. They can probably make you a set of header. It won't be cheap, but they would be perfect.
As for your problem, a few years ago I bought this stuff at O'Reily Auto parts called "Steel Tech" i think. The stuff looks like grey playdoh, But its designed for Exhaust pipes. You Mix it up, then put it in the area of the leak. I hardens and almost has to bu cut away. you might give it a try
