Correct Fuel Pressure for 3.1

Hello,
Im trying to find out what the correct fuel pressure is
for a 1990 firebird 3.1L engine. Im getting 35 psi. The chilton book says it should be 40-47 psi and the Haynes book says it should be 34-39 psi. I know I should get a GM shop manual but was hoping someone would know. the engine has a miss and im getting code 44 lean mixture.

Thanks
