Fuel Injecotors In!
The alternator probem I'll bet can be traced to your glowing wire problem. Something happened to help damage other electrial stuff. That is a strong possibility.
Your car definelty sounds like it was aged and you have to take several steps before all things will be settled out. BUT you are probably on right track. Keep at it.

Thanks man
Yeah I'm going to check the timing tomorrow and make sure thats dead on. The alternator I will replace sometime soon also. I think that is what is making me go threw the ICMs. There is no ticking or nothing in that motor. Sounds solid other then the squeking from the power steering pump. Could anything internal be shot and how would I tell and if it was, I think I would be burning oil? I have good oil pressure and the motor runs nice and cold

Tom, just wondering what type of gaskets you are referring to? Am I correct in assuming these are not rubber? I am just curious because I am about to do mine (rubber) and wanted to verify because I always thought rubber went on with oil only.

that way if you ever have to adjust the rockers or take the covers off for some reason you just pop the bolts and it lifts right off, staying with the cover.
I've never done a 3rdgen valve cover though, and from what I understand they are a B!TCH to get off and on because of all the other stuff you have to pull, so I don't think you'll be pulling them too much.....
I'd RTV both sides
