Unknown starting problem
OK the history first. We bought a running car. While working on the steering column. It would not start. Checked a lot of things, gets spark, just looks a little week. Fuel pressure was a little low, so replaced pump, fuel pressure great now. Pass key checked out just fine too. Knock sensor has also been replaced. Checked injector wiring harness, OK, Checked injectors, 23 to 24 ohms each. Thought it may have jumped a gear on timing, not that, though it needed a new chain. Replaced it. Distributor did not look the best, replaced it.
It has tried to start a few times, but is not consistantly. Has not even tried to start lately. Could the memcal or computer cause this sort of problem, its about the only thing that has not been replaced.

if i'm not mistaken, 23 to 24 ohms is way high, even for pintle style injectors. pintles usually about 15.6, multecs usually about 12.6 (in my experience) make a 2 wire test harness and see if the fuel pressure drops when you trigger them individually...
