i have a 1983 z28 that didnt come stock with AC. i dont know if u guys remember me but i had a 1984 firebird with the trans am GFX on it ( pic below)? anyway the AC in the firebird worked great and i was wondering if i could use the AC from the 84 firebird on my 83 Z28? (z28 info in sig if it matters) the engine in the firebird is the LC1, 2 bbl carb, 2.8L V6.

 

I would think everything would work except maybe for the hoses and the compressor bracket...not sure though. You might check with a parts store to see if the the part # for the compressor is different between the two, though.
