My idle is about 800 on my tach, but I heard it's supposed to sit at about 650. My car has no problems and pulls really strong with the idle at 800 though, and it doesn't seem like it idles high at all.

We can't answer your RPM at 55 without knowing your trans, but that seems a bit high for any trans.

My 5 speed is at about 1800 to 2000 at 55. I know 75 puts me right about 2800, and 80 is 3 grand.

I don't trust spacers on any car that will be taking any hard cornering or abuse, but I know plenty of people that drive their cars like maniacs with them on and I haven't personally known anyone with a problem yet.

I'll probably end up running some to go with a wider tire and some 4th Gen wheels down the line.

You do not have the wheelstud length to safely run wheel SPACERS. Now if you want to run ADAPTERS then you are talking something different. it takes adapters to run 4th gen wheels on a 3rd gen. I do not like adapters, they can cause many problems like putting excessive leverage on the factory studs, or can crack the adparter hubs if poor quality ones are used, and you can have a vibration balance problem most always will poor quality adpaters.

If you decide to buy some adapters, buy them from a reputable company and make for g()d sure they are billet.

Yeah, these are all the doubts that I was talking about.

RTFC has pretty much made up my mind about not trusting them on my car. I don't think I'll ever be able to put those on with a sound mind anymore... lol
