How many oz of r134a?

Considering the V6 and V8s use a different system, I'm wondering how many oz of r134a I need to put into a totally dry system?

Have you tried the cooling board? They discuss AC there all the time.

Our RS has a compressor that leaks oil/134 at the clutch seal, and I just add some when it doesn't blow cold anymore, or the clutch cycles excessively.

I bought a manifold gauge set for 134A and I intend to put a new compressor, reciever/dryer and orifice tube on 'er "one day" but for now, I live with the compressor yowling like a tomcat being neutered with rusty pliars anytime the compressor clutch is engaged and the engine RPM is abov1500.

I pick my 7 month old up from daycare 4 days a week so it's kind of a necessity when it's a day with a heat index of 105.
