high idle
ok, i ported my plenum and intake and didn't think it made that big a deal,{ couldn't feel it anyway} so, i put back on the orignal plenum..used new gaskets, and new gasket for the throttle body, and IAC sensor.i go to start it up and it goes to 3000 rpm. so, i shut it off, i got a engine temp sensor code, so i check the plug, and soon as i grab the connector, it crumbles.. to just the two leads..so, i plug them in,, check TPSvoltage, and am ready to go again.... everything hooked up, i restart and it goes to about 900 rpm and steady... about 40 inches of vacuum and no leaks... i turn it off, then start it again, and it goes to 3000 rpm again quick....so, i pull the the IAC, and pull out the pintleto about 1 1/4 in, put it back.. leave it unpluged and re-start.. it idles fine at about 900 rpm, doesn't stall, hesitate, or anything... it's running a lil rich,,, but if i plug the IAC in, it goes to 3000rpm.... any help would be great....
