help, fire wiped my wiring harness out!
i figured that i would post this here figuring that someone might be able to help me out. i have the wiring diagram and the tools to do the wiring, but i don't have any connectors for the distributor, coil or anything on the back half of the engine compartment.
what happened? well i just put the new trueleo intake on the car, and i was running it trying to get it tuned in so it would idle with the ford throttlebody on there, and #4 injector sprung a leak around the o ring at the fuel rail. it didn't happen at idle, cause i checked the system before starting the car, fuel filled the cavity around the intake and dripped down the block onto the hot hooker headers.
the result, a 10' fireball that reduced itself to 6' til i put it out with the garden hose. some of the wires burnt competely off, and some just burnt the insulator off. the plug wires are toast, and same with the vac motor, the vac lines, the wiper motor, the injector harness, the distrubor connector, the coil connector, and *** knows what else in behind the engine. i got to get this thing fixed asap, and the engine will be pulled to assess any more damage tommorrow morning.
anyone with spare connectors or anything that may help, please email me at kuykensa@kennedy.navy.mil or pm me.

I sent ya the answer
The factory helms shop manuals have a section for just connections & they show pictures.
The GM Parts counter guy "has same information".
Go to parts counter buy the guy a soda and ask for that illustration in a print out format.
Sorry to hear.
Ya blazing new territory, hope the road is smoother.
