La dee da....
7psi, running good - with one small exception.
MY PCV VALVE.
arg... I've got one from a Turbo Grand Prix in there (oddly enough, same p/n as our stock one) but I go under boost, and out she comes. I need a 3/8" one way check valve.
Any ideas?
Looked into maybe a brake booster valve, but nothing. I may end up building my own
I go do a nice WOT run, and stop - PCV valve is blown out. I'm going to do a compression test tonight, to verify I haven't killed the rings with all my tuning, LOL. I'm certain they aren't the problem - no blue smoke when not WOT
BTW - I'll be out at the track Wednesday if anyone wants to check out the turbo 3.1

What side of the turbo is the Breather Hose routed to? It needs to be on the Inlet side so you're not building boost into the crankcase. if the PCV valve is working right, when you go into boost, it should be closed because the boost is holding it shut, so nothing gets into the crankcase.

New valve + grommet, seems to have cured it. The old grommet was BAKED.

Also, PCV routing as follows -
Driver's side, stock
Passanger side = run to right before the turbo inlet
Need to get a catch can tho, I'm pulling some oil through it (hey, who'd have thought? a 3" MAF is a fairly large restriction to a 4" turbo inlet?)
