How about cherrybomb?
Here is my issue. Don't get paid till Friday and need to get car inspected by Sat. Would love to order a Dynomax muffler but no one around here sells them. I can pick up a cherrybomb from Advance Auto to get me to pass inspection. Are they any good? Don't want to buy it just to pass inspection then go and get the Dynomax and wind up spending money twice for a muffler. So if its worth it I will buy the cb and run with it for a while. ANyone ever use them before?

The only thing a cherry bomb muffler is good for is being LOUD.
If you want anything else out of it, like performance, then it's not worth it. You'd be better off wasting your $$ on a stock muffler.
If you can't pick it up from summitracing.com maybe there's a speed shop in the area that you can hit the phone book for. A speed shop will probably charge a lot for that muffler compared to Summit tho.

go grab a generic muffler... should be around $14....
slip it on where your stocker was.. if your state requires a tip, then a $3 90* bend with a muffler clamp will work.
it'll be quiet (to pass inspection), cheap (less then $20 total on there) and then you could put whatever on it.
plus you may find that being able to hear your car (not just the exhaust), and being able to talk to people in your car, is a plus...
besides, theres absolutly no reason why your car should be loud anyway.

If you have inspections I would just get it done right by a shop. Even if you buy the mullfer or summit kit. Let them install it.
If you don't have inspections id chuck the whole stock system.
My cherrybomb not only sounds cool its give free flowing performace. Pulls hard and fast to redline and beyond. Sound like a V8 through the whole rpm range, no more whiney v6 sounds.

Well I'm in luck. I can order the dynomax turbo muffler from Advanced and it will take a day to get in. So I will go that route tomorrow and have it by Wed. Thanks for all the input.
