meh, you're automagic... a 4k sidestep sends my rear tire blazin'

If you're heading to the dragstrip, try it different ways, and see what works best on your car

Yes a 3.1 can spin tire if your front brakes hold decent. Don't light them up forever....JUST enough to heat em up a tad. Dont wanna get street tires too hot or else they act funky. Usually 1-2-D works best, but it depends on your trans shiftpoints. 3.1's are lower-end motors...dont over-rev it, you'll go nowhere. I wouldnt shift any higher than 5500 rpms, if I remember the behavior of mine...

Also, avoid the water trap.

avoid water like nixon said. i never really do much of a burnout, even. i just "dry hop" it a time or two. it'll clean the tires off if they're dirty. i've never really needed any real burnouts or anything. also, i'd rev it to about 1k when you're getting ready to launch (with it in gear and left foot on brake).

your a fairly stock automatic I can't see you lighting them up enough to really have traction issues.... unless you drive through the water box.

so stay from the box and just launch the car I doubt your going to really break traction that bad
