started porting intake, any suggestions?
i started porting the upper plenum tonight and didnt see much that needed to be opened up much. is there anything aside from really polishing the plenum that i should be looking to improve? and how do i get into the main part of the intake, or do i just do what i can reach w/ a dremel?

I gasket matched and polished mine and the results were pretty decent. The RPM's pick up alot faster. Reach what you can but only when your polishing unless you have flowbench. Thats what everyone told me but I didnt have one so my cfm could definately be messed up. Good luck.

i just found out today that one of the guys at my new job is big into fabricating. we got talking about my intake and about some of them on here. he was shocked to find out how much some were going for and how easy they could be to make. so were gonna start looking into making a new intake similar to the truleo intake, but not out of steel. if it does go through, ill keep everyone posted on it. otherwise, thanks for the advise, ill take it into consideration as i continue on the intake and heads this winter.
