3.1 firering order

Car: only GM,88 camaro, 91r/s camaro, 91
Engine: Clean oil, looks fresh, no leaks
Transmission: Bright Red, never burnt, no leaks
Axle/Gears: currently whining
3.1 firering order
hey just out of curiosity are all our 3.1's have the same fire order?? [91 3.1 camaro r/s.] also any one here have the diagram, showing as if i were standing infront of the block??

The fireing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. But I forget which way the distributer spins, IIRC clockwise.

Yep...clockwise and 7:00 is correct for 90% of the cars out there, but not neccessarily...It really depends where top dead center is alligned with the distributor. I've attached a graphic, but again, the cap is marked for 90% of the cars...you mileage may vary.
