so i made it to the dyno . . .

Went to the dyno earlier today, got some interesting results.

for some reason the machine didnt output any torque specs, and the printer was really crappy, so its a little hard to read, but i attached a scan of the sheet anyway.

so what mods do you think helped the most? maybe some crappy injectors, or could lowering my fuel pressure have helped? it really seems like like the 3.5-4k range.

input appreciated.

Hmmm, I think my 3.1 has a little more than you do from about 4,000rpm to redline. Not much, just a few horses more. Well, little ponies really, not horses so much. You know, like the ones you see in a circus that tiny clowns ride?

Thats about what my stock 1987 GMC jimmy 2.8 TBI had too. With the 3.4 turbo it had alot more, then with the cammed 4.3 CPI motor it had 215 RWHP and 280 ft/lbs with a torque curve as flat as Kansas.

The stock 2.8 TBI/ 700r4, literally wheezed out 88 RWHP and just over 150 ft/lbs in 3rd gear.

The turbo 3.4 was 230 RWHP and 240 ft/lbs.

non-tech, and your formula for torque is wrong
