swapped radiators, seems my coolent level sensor doesnt want to go in all the way on the new rad. looks like theres somthing stopping it. anyone know if there are different sensors for different years or maybe firebird got a different one than camaro?

It is a berli thing. I have one too. that is how my sensor looks also, But my senso has never worked. If you ground the wire leading to the sensor, the light goes out...

do you think our sensor is supposed to have somthing other than that shiny metal prong on the end?

are these sensors used in any other vehicle? or can i just go buy one at the store?

hey you didnt have your rad replaced did you? you think the metal prong is supposed to touch the coolent? i wonder if theres somthing blocking the metal prong incase your car doesnt have that sensor, so it can be installed on other models

no, I have never had my radiator replaced... Although I can't seem to get the sensor in all the way. I eventually just said screw it and grounded it until I can buy a new sensor.... You might want to shoot over to www.berlinetta.info and give an email to the webmaster. He is very knowlegeable, and i bought several berli -specific parts from him...
