Hey guys I built a 3" cold air intake to go onto my little 2.8 v6 but know I'm unsure of what K&N filter to go with. I guess what I'm saying is what part# should I say I want when I go into the parts store. Have any of you here built one or have bought one for your firebirds? Please help!

Pick either round straight or round tapered then find the diameter you need. Pretty sure http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RE-0950 that's the one I have.

 

i used k&n part number re-0810 on my 3inch cai.

 

Hey guys I got my K&N filter today. I had bought it off ebay and it said it was a universal but there is a silver sticker on the box stating it is for off road & racing only. Not intendedfor use on emission controlled vehicles. It stated that it was a universal filter!

Just wondering if your boxes said the same?

Yeah it said the same thing on mine i think its a joke an air filter is gonna mess up a emissions controlled vechicle.
