need a diagram for vacume lines 2.8

OK, heres what happened. I bought this camaro and it needed a head gasket so my friend came over and tore the motor apart while I was at work. Needless to say he didn't mark where the vacume lines came from and broke a few, now I don't have a clue were they go. I asked him and he doesn't remember. So If anyone has a pic diagram I could really use it right now or anything for that matter. Thanks

look on the bottom of the hood by the latch it should be there on a sticker. If not i may be able to scan it for you from my chiltons book.

P.S. It makes it alot easier for people to help you if you put the Engine/ year/ trans and what not info in your profile so you dont have to type it every time you need help.

Carb version - non-85.

So you know, 1985 is a unique year for vaccum lines so every diagram you see, you should find out if its from 1985 or not.

www.autozone.com also has online vacuum diagrams for practically every vehicle, also. Just tell it what vehicle you're working with and look at the repair guide or repair manual section. Vac diagrams are under drivability/emissions iirc.

Thats what is weird about my car is it is an 85 but all the vac lines are the same as a 86 and the battery is on the pass side along withall the proper wiring there. its never been in a major accident and it dont look like any thing was swaped over if it was someone made darn shure to use all factor stuff and assemble it exactly as it would have come from the factory in 86+
