I'm Leaving . . .
. . . the ranks of the sixers. Never thought it would be me (I had pretty big plans for a 3.4 + custom m90 + megasquirt), but I just got slammed with a killer deal on a 92 RS with 15k mile 355 TPI(full mandrel exhaust, complete intake porting & tune), 5-speed, and 3.42 posi disc rear. there is damage to the driver's door and the left rear quarter is a bit crumpled, but it will make a nice donor for my 'bird. Should be picking it up tomorrow. I'll hang around a bit though, and sometime down the road I'll probably get a fiero and start the whole 660 thing again.

i say keep them both! there is something to be said about have 1 hotrod and 1 daily driver, and them both being 3rdgen f-bodys is a plus, then still do the boost 660 in the 'bird and still get great fuel economy, and a fun little ride...but that's just me.

major truth there. my GTA gets 13-15 MPG and driving as much as i do i am realy missing my 2.8. i sold it to a buddy 2 weeks ago. i realy regret that decision. i thought "the registration+insurance will be more then the gas i will save". i am starting to wonder about that. plus the added convenience of having two cars. one to drive when the other is broken. and with me that is about 10% of the time. should have kept the other one.. atleast i still get to see her once in a while, whenver somthing breaks he calls me, i am actualy going over there tomorow to fix somthing
i see keep em both. fieros are cool though. just pack a fire extinguisher. they have a pyromaniacle past

lol, stop trying to convince me to keep both . . . i'm in college right now with no house, and i already have more cars sitting on my parents property than they want(a 2nd gen, a bunch of parts, and a 78 scout II) and since i cant drive two cars at once(regrettably) i would have to sit one of these two there for 9 months out of the year . . . not gonna happen. My natural tendency is to never get rid of anything, and its going to have 10 weeks to work on me before i even get the chance to swap the stuff over to my '89 . . . hopefully the cost of repairing the quarter will help dissuade me from keeping both. Plus a big factor in my being able to afford this is the money i can make back from all the parts i can sell off. ill have a complete 77k mile t-5 swap with a <1k mile clutch & flywheel in two months if anyone wants it.
no kidding, its a big change not having to floor it to get anywhere, im gonna end up speeding like crazy
I can't blame you... but do watch that 5 spd + 3.42s if you ever hook up!

WOW, I dont think i could ever go back . . . as much as i want to love the little v6, its a whole different world now. I think I may just keep this one and fix up the v6(put in a 3.4, etc) for my little brother once he gets his license. I just dont think i could not drive this car for the month it would take to put everything over in my firebird!!!
