back from iraq, found a 3.4, but not sure

Well I got home Tuesday. Cruised by the wrecking yard yesterday and found a 94 camaro 5spd with the 3.4 in it and 126k. The front end had been smashed in though, and it looks like the radiator might have shoved against the engine. Usually they pull the engine if it's good and sell the whole thing, but this one was left in it. They wanted $100 for it.

I'll have to check in the other 3.4 swap posts, I can't remember for sure how much extra I'd have to do to make it work with the auto tranny I have.

Anyway, I'm thinking it over. I still plan to buy a 4thgen TA sooner or later, so I may just put those headers on the 2.8 and call it good.

The engine is a direct bolt in swap.

I support the troops, but not the monkey at the desk.

Thankyou thankyou

Well I'm busy all this week, so I'll stop by there again monday. If it's still there, I'll take a good close look at it, and go from there.

yuppers, welcome back, I should be back..............soon.

All you'll need to do is decide which wersion of the 3.4 swap to do and then pull what you need, sell all extras.

If you're planning to sell the car anyway, save your money and leave it alone. No one will pay more for it because its got more displacement, at least not unless its a V8.
