my first P&P

i just finished gastket matching/MILD porting/polishing my new heads. i used a dremel with a cylinder style grinding stone that was a little bigger than 1/4" diameter. i heard not to use a dremel, but it worked very well and fast, just let the dremel do the work, dont let it jump and dont rush. i finished everything off with various grades of emery cloth.i went over each combustion chamber lightly with emery cloth just to clean them up. tomorrow, im going to blast the heads with some compressed air and some carb. cleaner. and they're ready to go...with the blingin chrome edelbrock valve covers...they're nice, but each cover only has one hole, one for the filler and one for PCV, i dont have that deceleration valve thing that runs between the intake tube and the valve cover, so no problems!

it's to help atom-a-sation. mix the air/fuel with semi turbulent airflow.

i was aware of that. i only went over the intake runners lightly with the sand paper, i did more porting than polishing on that side

no, not yet, im waiting till i can get some headers, i'd say end of the month, shipping them is $$, your in Sayerville, maybe we can meet up somewhere inbetween sometime, but yea, my friend billy is in UTI, he's in the hot rod portion of his classes, he just learnd how to do P&P, said it was better than what some kids did there with the right tools and a flow bench
