Engine: Clean oil, looks fresh, no leaks
Transmission: Bright Red, never burnt, no leaks
Axle/Gears: currently whining
day before Easter, Break down

yea the day before easter my gun metal grey 3.1 liter v6 R/S over heated on the way home for my routine drives outa town,. tried to inch it home but kept on over heating,. at first i could not figure it out,.,.i mean i just did a water pump replace ment a few months ago,.,.so i had a good idea that thermostat would come back to haunt me ,.,.no dout about it. i made a mistake by not replacing it when i did the water pump,.,.,.any way i had to have it towed home ,.,. i got to admit it some thing about it on the flat bed still looked "kick ***" wish i owned my own ,.,.any way thats how i spent easter underneth the plenum lol..,.

how hard is it to replace the thermostat anyways? Don't have the book on me righ now...

not hard at all.
Remove throttle body and it is right there.
maybe 45 min if you take your time.
