Brakes and motor mount
ok driver side brake is squeling VERY badly. took them off pads are fine, but a little groove in the rotor. the clip that keeps the pad in place whne you put the caliper back on the rotor, keeps falling off and im thinking that its rubbing because they dont squeak when i push on the brakes. what do you guys think for a solution and what should the cost be? next... passenger side motor mount. how much of a PITA is this and how much am i lookin at if i have a shop do it. we have a lift for the car if that makes anythign easier to access, which im sure it does. your help is greatly appreciated.

You mean the clip that hangs on the inner pad, and goes inside the caliper piston? I think you can buy those new from auto parts stores, and a GM dealer will definately have one.
From what I've heard, the motor mount is a pain because the bolts are hard to get to with the front suspension on the car. You'd hit the same problems a V8 guy would; use that search button at the top of the screen and type in "motor mount", it should get you some info.
