Transmission: Stock
Axle/Gears: Stock
Aftermarket V6 throttle body?
Hey Everyone,
Very Very nice site.
I am hopping that one of you would be able to point me in the right direction...if there is one....
I am looking for an aftermarket throttle body unit for a 1988 2.8 L V6 FI 5 speed.
Shes all stock with 185,000 miles...wifes car sence new and I am told we will NEVER get rid of it.....so time to spend some bucks.

well, the carb board probably isn't your best place to go for a fuel injection part.
Try the V6 board, they'd know.

There were some guys in Finland making aftermarket throttle bodies, but they are no longer doing them. Some of the guys here have had machine shops bore out their stockers and install a larger blade. Honestly, if the engine is all stock there is no gain to be had with the throttle body.
