Intake questions..
First off what is the sensor thats in the back of the LIM that connects to the fuel rail? My next question is concering a new plenum idea of mine.. What I wanna do is take the TPI top plenum and TB, block off the side exits and mill some new ones on the bottom that will go straight down into the stock LIM with about 5-6inch runners.. Problem is the injectors and rail would stick out so much that the runner would only be about half of what it could.. Im wondering if its possible to drill injector holes in the same area but going the opposite direction.. Example: If your looking at the engine from the front, take for instance the passanger side bank and rotate the injectors about 90* counter-clockwise.. This would allow plenty of space.. Id have to use two new custom rails but I think it could be worth the work.. Youd be able to remove the valve covers without taking off the intake and the power increase should be quite noticable.. Im gonna find a spare LIM to try it out on first so that I dont mess up my P&P one.. I realized that the throttle responce would be worse due to the fact that the injectors arent pointed at the back of the valve but Id sacrifice it for top-end power.. Comments and opinions are welcome as always.. Thanks

i dont think pointing the primary injector away from the valve is a good idea, the drawbacks from that will outweigh any better airflow you would get.

Do you really think that itd be that much of a disadvantage?? If so what if I alter it by say only 45*?? I see alot of aftermarket set-ups for V8's that are at a vertical position so it couldnt be that bad..

so, you're wanting to make a mini-ram for the v6. The "sensor" in the back of the manifold is the cold start injector.
You could also plug up teh injector bosses on the base manifold & relocate them on the new intake runners (space permitting)

If I relocated them to the new runners wouldnt that be worse than what I had originally intended to do?? And yes Im basically wanting to make a mini-ram for the V6...
