What are the torque specs for the heads, rocker arms, and lowest intake manifold? Also does anyone know if the Hooker headers for a second gen 2.8 fit on our cars?? Thanks

I saw on your cardomain page that you have a berlinetta with a 2.8 V6. These are the specs for that engine. If you have something different, let me know so I can give you the right values.

if by 2nd gen you mean FWD, no. if you mean the 4th gen f-bodys 93-95 (3.4), no, they will not fit.

torque specs:
head bolts: 70ft/lbs
rocker arms: 0 lash + 3/4 turn
lower intake manifold: 23ft/lbs (i usually retorque 3 times) start from center and work out clockwise

he beat me to the post, if its for a RWD f-body, these are straight out of the haynes manual for an 82-92 f-body. if its for a FWD, ignore these.

On the rocker arms you meant with 0 lash after the heads are on the block with the rods in place right??

for the 3.1 its 40ft/lbs + 90 degree turn.

and yes its 0 lash once the heads are on and pushrods are in place.
