Aluminum DS
I just bought a 4th Gen aluminum Drive shaft off ebay for $30 plus shipping. How hard is the install gonna be and what kind of differance is it gonna make on my car. I know the whole rotating mass thing is gonna benefit but is there anything else that I missed? Thanks

Is it the LS1 Driveshaft?
It weights 1lb less then our v6 shaft. Might notice a little less vibration. Doubt you will notice the less rotating mass.

Any idea the weight?
Install is very easy. Mainly, block the front tires WELL, and jack the rear end up as high as you can and block it.

Ramps, jackstands, etc. Thats what I was refuring too. Jackstands would be better as you may have to spin the drivetrain a bit.
Dont leave it on the jack. You will have to do some wiggling, maybe a slight bit of prying as well.

never get under a car that isnt securely blocked/on jackstands on level cement or asphalt, unless you have a death wish.
