bogs on start!
ok, my car cranks fine,
but then its either i have to hold my key turned extra while
until i hear the strong sound.
caz if i let go early, it will still keep running,
and will slowly fires up faster and faster
and presto it goes to the normal 2k rpm(cold start)
the point is that it "slowly" fires up,
after i let the key go too,
but it never bogs down, it always starts, but
it takes a while.
and until the engine is up on power,
for like 3second i see the engine light on.
i have no scanning tool/knowledge..
so if any1 knew any common cause that gives this symptom,
I'll greatly appreciate ur advise

in advance!
PS: its a 91RS, im guessing my old rusty EGR
but does bad EGR cause this?

well under yer dash there is a plug you can uses two wires to bypass it and count number of times it comes on in sequence., like number of blinks,.,.,.im not a pro mechanic but im a damn good one, i learn new things every day, but in my OPINION, it sounds like its time to change your cap and rotor on the distributer.,.if you havent in quiet some time,, also i would check timing,.perhaps somthing is wrong,..,.,i would do some searching regarding timing on our 3.1 cause what ive learned is our engine's are advanced anyway,, so seting it is kinda tricky.,,.
also check all ignition componets! [might wanna make thatthe first thing to check]

cap and rotor are new.. as well as distributors.
they're all maybe a year old.
timing I dont know, should i adjust timing?
or change timing chain?
neither I know how to do..
could worn starter cause this to happen?
thanks!
