Maybe My V6 Brethren Can Help
This post in the trans section explains it if you want to read up, but I'm not getting much help there aside from JamesC who already posted.
Long story short, I need to know where I can get the bushings for this secondary piece on the crossmember in this picture below
I have the mount that goes to the actual trans, but I need the bushings that mount that floating brace to the actual crossmember
you guys have any ideas? the local parts stores are useless, and dont even have anything close (which suprised me, it looks like a pretty average bushing to me)

its a common piece. i got new bushings a couple of years ago. If you can't find it at the parts store, go to the dealer. They should have a diagram of that section and you can pick which ones you want.

Thanks for the help, but i got it figured out you guys. they don't make those as OEM anymore, but i got them from Jegs for 20 bucks for some poly pieces. once they get here on Tuesday I'll be mounting it all up.
yeah, the mount that bolts from the trans to the crossmember itself. mine is a round style filled with oil, and has a weird crossmember.
doing that didn't set your pinion angle way off? the x-member for my round hydraulic mount sits way higher than any other style x-member i've seen. i could've gotten it to bolt up and drive, but it wouldn't have been kosher at all in my eyes. i routinely drive my car from here to Sacramento, with NOTHING between me and 40 miles of road... If i break down, its going to suck, so i want to keep my u-joints out of the line of fire....... lol

I sent a picture to Prothane regarding my torque arm bushing which was busted to pieces months ago. After giving me the right part for the torque arm bushing the guy I was working with there also recommended I replace the tranny mount and the cross member mounts. For anyone else who needs these mounts they are part number PTP-7-1605-BL at Summit. They don't show a picture but they are the correct crossmember mounts. From the parts diagrams I have only the automatric transmission crossmember needs these mounts.
