Car: 1992 Firebird
Engine: 3.1L V6
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Peg Leg
Ignition

Is this correct? Is the firing order of the 3.1 really 1-2-3-4-5-6? If so, how does the engine fire smooth? Must be an odd crankshaft if this is true. Also, is it correct that #1 cyl is on the PASS side of the motor? I saw all this stuff in the GM Service Manual, but its so different from how Chevy normally does their engines.

Should also ask what company sold this motor to GM, or is it really an american motor?
