i have a 90 bird with a 3.1 just swapped blown motor. mine rn great evcept for spun bearing. new one ran smppth before putting in. now idles great and runs great at anything above 1/2 throttle but sputters and kicks at low throttle/low rpm and smells like raw fuel. any ideas

 

Bad/Mis-adjusted TPS; Bad MAP sensor.

You'll have to check all of the sensors and ignition components to make sure everything is hooked up right and functioning.

 

map sensor sounds possible. had exhaust leak at manifold and was blowin right on it. was also thinking about the injectors. i have a spare map so ill try that and let ya know
